COVID-19 Handling & Postage Policy

In light of the current COVID-19 global pandemic, I have made some changes here at Megan Tucker Illustration to ensure the safety of my customers as well as my own. As this is a constantly changing situation, this policy is open to updates at any time and you are invited to check back regularly prior to purchasing.

Until the pandemic is over, all international postage has been removed. With countries closing their borders and delays with international items, This is the best option for now to avoid items getting lost or held up. Apologies if you are an international customer (Please come back in the future once this situation has passed!).

Before I pack items, surfaces are cleaned and my hands are washed. Although the official advice states that Covid-19 doesn’t survive long on objects such as letters or parcels, I am taking these measures as an extra precaution for your peace of mind.

All standard letter (cards etc) and large letter (notepads, 10x8 prints, tote bags etc) will be sent via Royal Mail and will have the postage applied here in my studio at home and will be posted directly into my local post box, thus eliminating the need to go to the post office itself for the sake of maintaining social distancing guidelines.

All larger items such as 12x16 prints will now be sent via MyHermes. These will be collected directly from my home, (once again to avoid going to the post office to maintain social distancing guidelines) with a slightly longer than usual lead time of 3-5 business days.

To help you out as much as possible during this time, I can hand write messages in my greetings cards for free and send them directly to the recipient if you are self isolating. Im also offering free gift wrapping and postage to the recipient if you are looking to send a gift to a loved one without leaving house.

I will also make online gift cards available as a self isolation friendly gift alternative, as well as multi buy gift boxes full of goodies at 50% off that you can send to a loved one as a treat or to simply treat yourself to.

Please look after yourselves during this difficult time, follow government guidelines and stay safe.
